Simply park in St Stephen’s 24-hour car park, enjoy the £10 meal offer at one of the participating venues and hand your car park entry ticket to your waiter who will give you a free exit ticket. This is valid after 6pm until midnight and goes straight into the barriers as you leave the car park so you don’t even have to go to the car park pay machines. Hull Truck Theatre are also offering discounted theatre tickets for all shows on a Thursday evening so you can watch, laugh, eat, drink and enjoy!

Jim Harris, Centre Manager at St Stephen’s explains why they got involved, "We wanted to support the evening economy in our area and work with local bars, restaurants and entertainment venues to give free car parking for all customers who participate in the offer and eat at one of the participating restaurants. Ferensway provides something for everyone – you can watch a film, visit the theatre, go shopping or just enjoy a meal. We really hope that people embrace take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy great food, drink and entertainment in a fantastic and convenient location."

This Thursday live music from talented local solo artist Beth O’Grady will be playing from 6pm at Vanilla Café Restaurant on Ferensway.

Like Half Past the Weekend, Ferensway Thursdays has been developed by city partners Hull BID and Hull Forward as they work with local food and drink operators to attract more people into the city centre after 5pm, and has been developed and delivered by Fred Marketing.

Kathryn Shillito from Hull BID said: "We knew that Wednesday’s Half Past the Weekend campaign had been successful but we’re delighted that operators from this side of the city have seen it too and want to build on that success on Thursdays. The businesses have joined forces, there’s an excellent choice of eateries with great food and drink offers, and this combined with free parking, and discounted Truck Theatre tickets means it’s a great reason to stay in the city centre after 5pm so we’re delighted to be supporting the Ferensway Thursday initiative."
