The Employment Law and Business Immigration Team at Bridge McFarland Solicitors, in conjunction with the CIPD, will provide a topical legal update bringing delegates up to speed with the most important developments of the last six months and looking ahead to important employment law changes. We focus on the essential ‘need to know’ issues, with clear and practical action points to take away. 

What is it about?
The areas that will be covered at this update include:

·         The latest position regarding the Trade Union Bill

·         Zero hours contracts

·         Gender pay gap reporting

·         Proposal to extend shared parental leave

·         Recent case law on monitoring at work, sickness absence policies, voluntary redundancy and misconduct dismissals

The session will be delivered by Partners Lee Whiting, Richard Parnell and Nicola Barrass and Business Immigration and Employment Law specialist Joanne Wright.  The Bridge McFarland team have over 50 years of combined experience of advising businesses on employment law.
