The Sound of Music

Tuesday 4 - Saturday 8 June
Hull New Theatre

The much loved Rodgers and Hammerstein musical The Sound of Music is presented by Beverley Musical Theatre.

The uplifting true story of the Von Trapp family’s flight across the mountains works its magic once again for young and old alike. Following on from the success of last year’s production of Annie, we bring to life the trials and tribulations of Maria Rainer, a young Postulant Nun, set in the Austrian Alps at the outbreak of World War 2.

The show’s unforgettable score includes some of the most memorable songs ever performed on the musical stage, including My Favourite Things, Do-Re-Mi, Climb Ev’ry Mountain, Edelweiss, and of course the glorious title song The Sound of Music. Complete with stunning sets, costumes and a cast of over 100.

Don’t miss this musical treat. Perfect for all the family!
