City centre restaurants and café bars were given a boost with the reprint of HullBID’s popular Dine Brochure, which includes some of the city’s newest establishments.

Vicky Fraser, owner of Savile Row Café Bar in Savile Street, said: “I live locally and I saw the brochure when it came out in 2011 so I wanted to make sure we were included in the new one.”

Dan McCormack, Head Chef at The Junction restaurant at the Holiday Inn Hull Marina, added: “We work hard to let people in the area know that this is not just a hotel restaurant – it is something for the general public.”

“The brochure will help raise awareness of our great value, high quality dining experience and the regular updates of the website www.eatdrinkenjoy.co.uk is ideal for us to promote our offers - for example our special Yorkshire menu that will change every month.”

Jennifer Marshall, who managed the project for HullBID, said: “We know from last year that the brochure was very effective in promoting the city’s diverse dining offer to the general public and the businesses featured were delighted. The website has increased in visitor rates and venues have supplied fantastic exclusive offers increased in visitor numbers.”
