Graduates, friends and families will be descending on the city in their thousands during the 4 day event. Starting at the Guildhall, proceedings will then follow at Hull City Hall with the majority of the action taking place between 9am-6pm.
Local businesses are being urged to be prepared for the influx of potential custom as this event creates a fantastic opportunity to welcome new visitors to the city centre and also to significantly increase business. Many visitors will be from out of town, and may even be potential future Hull graduates, so promoting all the wonderful things on offer in the city is vital.
Businesses should also take note as a health and safety measure, part of Paragon Street starting at Charlotte Street (next to the City Hall) will be closed during the following times:
