Christmas in Hull sees collaboration between Hull BID, Hull City Council and various City Centre venues and retailers to bring the people of Hull something extra special this festive season.
With Christmas lights switch-on events, an abseiling Santa, festive parades, a snowflake light projection, live music, shopping centre activity, family days in Holy Trinity and even a Hull City Centre version of Band Aid’s ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas?’, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
The Christmas in Hull website provides a one-stop diary of Yuletide events, news and information. With a warm, traditional feel that perfectly fits the campaign, the site received over 2,000 visits in its first fortnight and continues to receive traffic from across the region and beyond.
This is the first time that so many retail and administrative bodies have united to create a strong, recognisable Christmas campaign, Christmas in Hull acts as a resource for local residents as well as a promotional website for our city’s vibrant City Centre community engagement.
