HEYHA’s prestigious Apprentice Chef of the Year competition is returning for its 5th consecutive year and will accumulate in an exciting live cook-off finale held at the Yum! – Hull BID Festival of Food & Drink.
The Copper Saucepan Award was established as a showcase of the region’s talented rising-stars in the catering industry. It encourages the growth and development of new and training chefs, and is a great accolade of the apprentice and the establishment they represent.

The winner will receive a cash prize of £200 and a day at the award winning Winteringham Fields Restaurant with Rooms Lincolnshire.
After a short list is announced, the apprentice chefs will participate in a cooking challenge before the two finalists go head to head on the main stage at the Yum! – Festival of Food & Drink on Saturday 30th July on Princes Dock Street, Hull city centre.
