Lost City Adventure Golf in Hull is celebrating its first birthday with a day full of activities for all ages to enjoy.
Taking place on Saturday 28 May from 10am until 10pm, the date marks one year since the adventure golf course officially opened on the first floor of St Stephen’s Shopping Centre.
With activities for both children and adults, the daytime will see cupcakes for the first 50 customers, alongside face painting from 11am until 3pm, and a visit from special guest Ollie the Orangutan.
Adults can enjoy live music – featuring a range of traditional Caribbean music and upbeat reggae covers using steel drums – from 6pm, whilst tasting a selection of cocktail samples from the Lost City Tiki Bar.
Lost City has also partnered with Luxx Events to host an Indiana Jones Photo Booth.
Lane Scott, director of Lost City Adventure Golf, said: “When we first decided to expand and open our third and largest venue in Hull, our ambition was to create a place that welcomed groups of all ages and sizes, from families and couples to friends and work colleagues.
“This vision has now become a reality, and we love seeing the people of Hull return again and again for competitive fun on our adventure golf courses.”
“To mark the special occasion, we want to thank our incredible customers by offering early bird prices all day – £6 for 18 holes and £10 for 36 holes. Golfers can either book online or turn up and pay on the door.”
First opening in May 2021, Lost City Adventure Golf features two 18-hole adventure golf courses full of dramatic, interactive features, with a show-shopping waterfall alongside large-scale special effects, animal animatronics and ‘tropical rainstorms’ providing a truly immersive experience.
Guests can also enjoy a range of handcrafted cocktails, beers, milkshakes and barista coffee alongside homemade pizzas and desserts at the Lost City Tiki Bar.
