The world’s largest drawing festival is taking place this half term – and you can grab a pencil and get involved in Hull.
The Big Draw Festival is an annual event that takes place in more than 20 countries across the globe.
Hull is one of the many cities that is supporting the festival with a number of fantastic events for both children and young people
Councillor Marjorie Brabazon, chair of Hull Culture and Leisure, said: "The Big Draw Festival does an incredible job promoting drawing and creativity all over the world, and I’m delighted that we are supporting it in Hull.
"It’s fantastic that the festival takes place over half term when children and families can take advantage of these wonderful free events."

Craft yourself – portrait making: Saturday 26 October, 1pm until 2.30pm, Hands on History Museum - Be inspired by portraits on display in the Story of Hull Gallery to produce your own of yourself, your family or friends. Free, drop-in.
Where's Wally: The Big Museum Hunt (Kids in Museums National Campaign): Saturday 27 October - Sunday 4 November, Hull Maritime Museum - Join the search for Wally at the Hull Maritime Museum. Can you find Wally in our collections? Pick-up an activity sheet and get a special sticker if you do. Free, drop-in.
Crafting Wilberforce: Monday 28 October, 1pm until 3pm, Wilberforce House Museum - Use a selection of art materials to have a go at completing Sir Thomas Lawrence’s famous unfinished portrait of William Wilberforce. Free, drop-in.
What Makes You, You?: Tuesday 29 October, 10am until 12noon, Ferens Art Gallery -This workshop looks at what makes up our identity. You will be invited to design a room that represents you and consider your identity. Suitable for accompanied children aged over 5. Free, drop-in.
Family Hands: Wednesday 30 October, 10.30am until 1pm, Hull and East Riding Museum -Turn your hand prints into Mortimer the mammoth at Hull and East Riding Museum. Join in as we work with artists from Family Hands and use our hands to make animals from the past. Free, drop-in.
The Human Rainbow: Artist led portraiture workshop: Wednesday 30 October, 1pm until 3pm, Ferens Art Gallery - Create a watercolour portrait considering the themes of identity and heritage with artist Estabrak Al-Ansari. The event is connected to our exhibition 'Coming Home', in partnership with The National Portrait gallery. Suitable for those aged 13-18 years. Free, booking essential. Artist Led Drawing Workshop: Thursday 31 October, 10am until 12noon, Ferens Art Gallery - The Dirar Family invite you to join them in drawing and making, as their share their stories and experiences as former refugees. Free, drop-in.
Hull Fair: Friday 1 November, 10am until 1pm, Streetlife Museum - Get inspired by your favourite memories of Hull Fair to create artwork. Free, drop-in.
