Hull is preparing for the arrival of the British Cycling National Circuit Race Championships taking place on Wednesday, 9 July.
The thrilling race will see the country's top cycling athletes come to the city days after the highly anticipated Grand Depart.
Riders will begin at Queen Victoria Square, before speeding around Queens Dock Avenue, Jameson Street and Paragon Street, completing around 50 laps.
The course opens at 5.45pm with the Women's race starting at 6.15pm and the men's race starting at 8.15pm. Presentations for the women's race will take place at 7.20pm and 9.20pm for the men's race.
Councillor Terry Geraghty, Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Culture said:
"We are delighted that British Cycling has chosen Hull to host this prestigious race and the event continues to put the city on the map as a world class visitor destination.
"Cycling is the summer's key sport and this race provides an opportunity for visitors and residents to see a national race take place amongst Hull's magnificent city centre buildings."
Local people have plenty of opportunities to get out and ride their bikes with a series of Sky Ride local events planned throughout the summer and the popular Sky Ride Hull taking place on Sunday 17 August.
