The shortlist for the HullBID Awards 2022, sponsored by HSBC UK, has now been selected, as the best of the city centre business community battle it out for the ultimate recognition from their peers.
Once again, the independent judging panel has been blown away by the volume and quality of entries. After a few strong debates, and over six hours of deliberation, their shortlist has been finalised. Each individual or business that has been shortlisted has now been notified and we look forward to seeing you at the awards ceremony at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel on Friday 25 February.
If, on this occasion, your entry didn’t make the shortlist, don’t be disheartened. It was a very difficult task for the panel to make their selection and the effort you have taken to enter was appreciated. Sadly, it is impossible to write to everyone, so the panel and HullBID would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you.
Entries were submitted for businesses of all sizes and in all sectors across 10 categories, highlighting actions or works which have contributed significantly to making the city centre a better place to live work and visit. In addition, there is the special recognition award (sponsored by Allenby Commercial) which doesn’t have a shortlist, with the judges looking for a business or organisation which really stood out during 2021 – irrespective of whether they have been nominated.
