The 4 week course will take place 3 times over the summer months whilst the players take a break and cost £10 a session or £32 to book all 4 sessions in the course.
Steve Burns said: "These sessions are suitable for anyone just learning to skate up to intermediate level. They’re ideal for anyone who’s always liked the idea of getting on to the ice but never had the courage or opportunity to take that first step."
The bar at the Arena will also be open to provide an area where fans of Ice Hockey and skating can talk to each other, catch up with the latest Stingrays news and watch highlights of the Stingrays 2009-2010 season.
Paul Fielder, owner of city centre property business Lime Property, is a keen fan of the Stingrays and urged people to give it a go.
He said: "There’s a great atmosphere at the club and these introductory sessions will give people the chance to learn the basics of ice skating as well as giving them an idea of what the top class players experience when they go out on the ice."
