The Albemarle Music Centre, in partnership with Hull Truck Theatre, are holding an open day this Saturday, 11am to 4pm.
Everyone is welcome to come along to try out instruments, including string, brass and woodwind instruments, as well as steel pan music and DJ workshops at the Albemarle.

Next door, at Hull Truck Theatre, a range of family events are taking place throughout the day including arts and crafts and face painting, and a chance to go backstage in one of the tours, or enjoy storytelling sessions.
Leader of Hull City Council, Councillor Mike Ross said: “There’s so much to do in the city centre this weekend, with the Falklands 40th anniversary events, and this great chance to try instruments and join in with music at the Albemarle, and go backstage at Hull Truck! If you’re coming along to Queens Gardens, it’s a great chance to pop into the Albemarle and Hull Truck too. I am certainly looking forward to attending.”
