A reminder that the Kickstarting Tourism Grants to support SMEs with Covid-19 recovery are still open for applications, with a good proportion of funding remaining. The Humber Growth Hub is keen to take forward more applications up until their application deadline of Friday 12th February.
Grants of £1,000 to £3,000 are available to businesses that are reliant on visitors – either leisure or business visitors – for part or all of their income, and can be used to either fund small pieces of equipment (with a value of less than £4,999) or the costs of working with an external specialist or consultant on a business recovery/development project (such as digital marketing, new product or service development, process improvement etc.). Particularly encouraged to apply are those working in hospitality, leisure and retail. The grants are 100% funded so your business does not need to contribute match funding to access these.
The application process is fairly straightforward, with applicants asked to provide a brief statement of Covid impacts on their business, how they will utilise the grant, and how the grant will help their business to recover from Covid-19 impacts.
