The University of Hull is delighted to host Maurice Rutherford, a near-contemporary of Philip Larkin, for the launch of his New & Selected Poems And Saturday Was Christmas.

 Introduced by Carol Rumens, who celebrates him as a ‘master craftsman’, Maurice will read a selection of work and tell the tales behind a truly venerable writing career.

With special guest readings from local poets Sarah Stutt and Mary Aherne.
